Vice President of Technical Engineering Operations- Solar EPC
(£ 40,000 to 55,000)
We are currently seeking a eligible candidate from UK and overseas for current opening of Vice President of Technical Engineering operations for Solar EPC projects in UK and other countries. The Vice President of Technical engineering provides leadership, vision, and direction for multiple aspects of solar EPC projects, including Project Management, purchase, Contracts, Field Operations, Equipment, Environmental Compliance, and Safety. You must provide technical oversight for all company projects. Responsible for helping the company to achieve financial goals and objectives while increasing operating performance and developing short- and long-term strategic plans and pursuits. Responsible for promoting a team-oriented approach. This person must fully participate in all aspects of managing the company including business planning, budget preparation and forecasting, capital investments, corporate policies and procedures, and solving internal or external issues as they arise.
Education and Experience:
- Must have the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with area of research is solar.
- Must have 10+ years of experience in engineering, with a minimum of 7 years in Solar power plants for ground mounted and rooftop.
- have the experience more than 70MW in implementation of solar projects, with minimum of 40MW inn ground mounted and 30MW rooftop.
- Experience with multiple EPC methods including Design-Build, T&M, Firm Fixed Price, Negotiated, etc.
- Possess strong analytical and conflict management skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve issues.
